#LDRBN Challenge: 30 days of compliments

If you have been following my Blushingkay instagram account, you would have noticed that i am taking part in LDRBN Community #30daysofcompliments challenge. This whole month, Don and I will be giving each other compliments every day! It's definitely a challenge because we want to give sincere, honest compliments to each other. So when you know what that you have to compliment each other every day. You start thinking ahead! Every week we're given different themes. So, week 1 is physical appearance.

When i told Don about this challenge. I knew he wasn't going to be entirely interested. I explained and tried to bait him by saying that this can bring us closer, we get to learn more about each other, etc. "This feels forced babe" was his response. After a few minutes of coaxing him, he said okay and gave me my first compliment. This whole week i keep catching Don at the wrong time (when he is playing his computer games, eating or busy at work) so his compliments were pretty direct. There are a few that caught me off guard. 

Here are what Don had to say about my physical appearance:

I was really taken back by his Tuesday compliment about my eyes and eyebrows. I put a little more effort this week to grow my eyebrows and reshape them, but never once cracked a mentioned that I was doing it to him. He said he noticed the "work" i put into keeping my eyebrows in shape. Love this guy!

Here are what I have  to say about his physical appearance:

I think Don has the warmest smile I've ever seen! His smile can melt icebergs into puddles. I particularly love his rough hands. They've become calloused from him lifting weights and doing heavy lifting at work. To me, it shows that he works hard on his fitness. This will be the first time Don reads the compliments from me. Check back next week for Week 2 and Don's reaction from week 1.
