Skulls

I have this sudden liking for skulls but i need them to be in a happy light girly way. No dark skulls but happy skulls. Got these skulls bracelets from Jakarta and everytime i wear them out, someone will compliment them, which makes me so happy for getting out of my comfort zone. 

Definitely adding more skulls in my accessories collection. 

Bioderma Sebium H2o

Got this wonderful thing in Singapore during a short trip. Ive used it over a week now. OMG, i love it. 

It gets ALL my make up off, every last bit of it. Of course i have to go through 3 cotton pads to clean everything off, but it gets everything off! It makes my night time routine faster. I come home, i take off my make up, wash my face with clarisonic and moisturize. 

What i love most about it:
1. Its like water but not water. i called it my magic water.
2. Not scent, no heavy feeling. (but i do get some tightness)
3. Once i need to retouch my make up but i was lazy to wash it off, i wiped it over with the magic water (hehehe) and reapplied my make up. I didnt get any break outs!
4. i dont think i will ever turn my back on this.

What i dont love about it:
1. Not available in Malaysia, closest to Malaysia is Singapore (tho, i secretly like it because it gives me an excuse to go over Singapore more frequently). 

ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

My cousin went over to US for a short holiday, i took the opportunity to ask her to buy me make ups! Been reading alot of reviews about this Elf Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder. There were many mixed reviews but i thought, why not just get it and try it out? After all its only USD3!!! when converted to RM its only less than rm10!

I dont quite fancy the blush, i feel its too light for me. Not so pigmented and extremely dusty!!! Like one swipe with my brush, i got the powder all over the compact. I use this mostly as my touch up kit. After lunch when i feel like my blusher is off or has slightly faded, i put this on.

The bronzer is my favourite out of my pathetic collection of bronzers. It matches my skin (im NC35-40) tone and its forgiving. i dont have to apply alot to give me a contoured face.

But……I dont think i would repurchase this if i had the chance. 

Kiehl´s Blue Herbal Moisturizer (Review)

I have gone through many moisturizers and this by far is the best for my skin. I like to write the date of when i start using a product. I bought my first tube in June and finished it by mid August! Only 2 months plus!! I use it day and night. I love looking at my face when i wake up in the morning. 

Pros
- light weight
- has a comforting tea tree oil scent
- perfect for oily and blemish prone skin
- mattifies and makes skin appear/feel smoother.

Cons
- NONE!

The story behind these concealer was….i was going away for the weekend and had to leave straight from my office. I usually pack my make up the morning i leave because i still need to use them. AND the genius in me….forgot to pack the most important thing in my make up routine - CONCEALER!!!

So during lunch, i rushed to the nearest drugstore. i didnt want to spend rm80 on another MAC concealer or any other concealer because i was only going away for three nights! I walked in Watsons and saw Essence! it was really affordable. Less than RM11 for each product.

i picked the darkest shade (they had) in Cover stick to cover my acne scars, turns out its too light for me. :( I can tell that it covers well. But no good reviews on this. I tried to make it work by mixing my tint moisturizer to work a colour that is suitable to my skin, still too light. 

i like using soft concealers for my under eye, i try not to tug and pull my under eye area for vain reasons. (Dont want them to sag faster) After only 4 days of using it, i think this is an okay concealer. It covers well but doesnt last. It does brighten up your eyes but…again wont last. Great to put in your make up bag for touch ups during the day, thats it.

Wont be repurchasing this, but i do want to try other Essence make ups.
