August Goals

Saturday, 1 August 2015

Another August goal is to drink different blend of coffee every day!
I have decided to make this a monthly feature. It helps me stay on track with my goals and i can always check back on my progress to see how 'productive' i am and see what I've achieved. Can you believe that August is already here! Boy, you came along really fast. Can't believe it's 5 months into the next year and I can still clearly remember what i did on New Year's Eve. For most of July, I was really busy getting ready for Don's visit and sorting adult things like banking, preparing for Eid, servicing my car, etc. It was like i went on a 'holiday' and left things hanging. Technically, i was on a 'holiday' when Don was here, but that shouldn't be an excuse to not have things on track!

Below are my August goals

01 Health
Last month i got into Yoga again, it was one the best decision I made this year. It was hard at first, really hard, but after a few classes, my body started to stretch out more. It felt wonderful. But, i stopped for 2.5 weeks when Don was here and i need to get back to it NOW! I am happy with how i look right now, but dropping a few kgs wouldn't hurt. I'm working my way to that! Back to Yoga (again), consistently this time and eat better.

02 Blog
I recently started a new feature on Blushingkay called Quotes and writing related things about the quote. I want to make this blog a positive and enlightening place for my readers. I'll be making creating my own designs of quotes and posting them here. So keep a look out for that! Besides that, I want to write more LDR related posts. More related-able and in an advice manner. Last month, i mentioned that I wanted to work on my e-book. Well, i got as far as writing down that I wanted to work on my e-book. As much as I want to get my e-book out, currently it's too much on my plate.

03 Life
Read more. I used to love reading growing up, I still do, but i find myself losing interest in books and reach out for my phone to read useless crap. I honestly can't remember the last time i read a good book. When Don was here, we went to a couple bookstores and bought a few books each. My goal for this month is to read all the books we bought! That's 4 in total!

So, yes, those are my August goals. Short and realistic, so i am able to achieve them in a month! Do you set monthly goals for yourself and what are they? Let me know in the comments below.
