Dr.inc in Bangsar was one of the cafes I have been dying to check out. It was no surprise after a visit to Central Market and Petaling Street with Don, we stopped by the cafe for a refresher. I've always known that Don is a big coffee drinker, but i didn't know how much he LOVES coffee. After one and half cups of coffee, i would get a caffeine buzz and need to drink lots of water to kill the buzz.
Before our visit to Dr.inc to chill and relax, I took him to Central Market and Petaling Street. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he enjoyed walking around Central Market and Petaling Street. Central Market is an emporium of stalls that sells traditional goods and local handicraft. It's also an historical landmark in Malaysia. It was an HOT hazy day, so it made a lot of sense to go a cafe to chill. Checking out cafes with Don is so much fun because of his coffee appreciation. Once he gets his coffee fix, he doesn't complain and entertains my photo taking antics.

Don ordered one of Dr.inc signature drink. In the simplest way to explain this drink, it's coffee soda. When we were at the counter ordering our drinks. We watched the barista preparing this drink for another customer. Curious, I asked the barista what drink is that. It's hot espresso and cream soda. Crazy weird combination. He told us, it's Dr.inc signature drink. It's very refreshing and you still get your caffeine buzz. Without hesitation, Don said he wants this drink!

Dr.inc's interior is so laid back with a hint of baba nyonya heritage. It has white walls with wooden furniture, old-style floor tiles, cute wallpaper design, ceiling light bulbs and colourful chairs. They also have merchandise from Nala design that sells stationaries, jewellries, plates, etc. One of the reasons why I enjoy going to cafes is admiring their interior. So much effort goes in designing a cafe, it doesn't hurt to walk around the cafe to admire their interior. My biggest pet peeves when going to cafes are... uncomfortable chairs. Nothing kills your chill moment with an aching back.
