Don't you hate it when you're bf suddenly goes missing for hours end and you are at home worried sick! Don has this habit of "forgetting" to charge his phone. He will go missing for a few hours but always come back after a while. After a few heated conversations about him missing for hours, Don, now always makes it habit to check in with me every other hour. EXCEPT this one day, he was driving long-distance (5 hours drive from his hometown to the town he was living in). It was late in the evening, I was worried cause the roads can get really dark and if anything happened, it would be a while before help can arrive and another few hours until news gets to me.
7.25pm - Are you home?
7.45pm - Where are you?
8.05pm - Don, where are you?
8.12pm - I'm between annoyed and worried
9.00pm - Don
9.58pm - WHERE ARE YOU? CALL ME.
beep beep text from Don
9.59pm - Hi babe
9.59pm - Don't hi babe me.
Apparently he couldn't find his charger, was busy at work and doing house chores.
