If you know me by now, I am a beauty enthusiast. I love makeup. I love cosmetics. I love skin care. I love Sephora. I love walking into drugstores. I love testing out products. I love watching makeup reviews. I love watching makeup tutorials. It's no brainer. I love makeup. Blushingkay was created for my love of makeup. Every time I travel, I always have my itinerary, list of things I want to eat and a list of things I want to buy. Every time I go to Perth, my list of things I want to buy is usually filled with makeups. I am very blessed to have the best of both worlds. I can easily shop in Sephora in KL for my high-end beauty products and whenever I am in Perth I can go crazy in drugstores (PRICELINE FTW).
So for my recent trip to Perth, I didn't go as crazy. My wishlist had sulfate free shampoo, purple shampoo and treatment oil. I told myself I shouldn't get any more makeups because I don't have space for new stuff. But who am I kidding? There is no such thing as self-control with me when it comes to makeup. Don told me to either get rid of some of my old makeup Or get more storage space. More storage space is so tempting, but it will only encourage me to fill up space I have. Not a bad thing! I am trying to have a healthy collection, not an overwhelming one.
I bought 8 + 1 if you include the shampoo I bought not in the photo. Not bad, I think.

01 Maybelline Color Show (60 Seconds) Nail Polish in 150 Mauve Kiss
In the past year, I have been loving soft brown, nudes and dark pastel colours. I have been wearing my Revlon Bare Bones to death. I love the colour, I love how it makes my nails look longer and slender. It was time for a new colour. I picked this colour out of impulse. I wanted something that was brownish purple. I have no idea if that make sense, but if you get it... you are wonderful! Colour turned out amazing on my nails. As I am typing this, I have had it on for 4 days and no sign of chipping. ITS AMAZING.
02 Australis AC ON TOUR Contouring & Highlighting Kit
I didn't plan to buy this at all. I only bought it because my sister asked me to get it for her. As I was looking for it, I did a quick google search on the reviews. There were so many good reviews about it! I picked one up for myself. Went home, tried in on me, love! One of the best contour palette I have.

04 Nivea Pure & Natural Milk & Honey Lipbalm
This lip balm is the second Nivea lip balm tube I finished. It's moisturising, no strong scent, glides on easily and basically a dream to wear. No sticky feeling after. I went through my first tube in less than 8 months. I have tried so many lip balms and I found this the best.
05 Maybelline Great Lash Big in Blackest Black
I have dead straight eyelashes. The most dramatic curling mascara can't help my sorry ass lashes. I've tried so many different kinds of mascara, after layers of curling promises, my lashes will go straight again. I gave up on wearing mascaras.
A couple months back, I went for an eyelash perm. Eyelash perm is semi-permanent curling procedure that curls your eyelashes. You can easily say... I am hooked. No more straight lashes! Perming my lashes has become part of my beauty routine. It's safe. It's fast. I feel great. Because of my new lashes, I have been trying different kinds of mascara to see which can hold my lashes! Recommended by friends and great reviews online. I thought I would give it a try!
06 Sally Hansen Big Shiny Top Coat
I needed a top coat and this was on sale. They weren't kidding when it says Big Shiny Top Coat. My nails are shiny as hell. Even a friend noticed it and said "you have shiny nails" LOL. Have had it on for 4 days and no signs of chipping.
07 Napoleon Angled Contour Brush 15b
I bought this brush for my AC ON TOUR palette. I used for my contouring and loved it. I tried it with my blusher and it works wonders!
08 Maybelline Brow Satin in Dark Brown
I needed a new eyebrow pencil and something easy to apply. I suck at drawing my eyebrows. I watched so many tutorials and practised. I just can't get it right. Practice practice practice.
