Ever since my love for makeup and beauty blossomed, I was always on the lookout for the latest beauty trend or product. Whatever the Youtube beauty gurus reviewed or was using, I wanted it! The Clarisonic, Kiehl's midnight recovery oil, Chanel foundation, Naked palette and the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse. I was hooked! I bought the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse at the height of its glory. I loved it at first. It was so moisturising without that sticky oily feeling and it has a wonderful warm vanilla citrusy scent. Over time, I stopped using it because there were other body lotions to try.
Recently, I cleaned out my beauty "pantry" and found this beauty again. Omg, I can't believe I forgot about this oil for over a year. I started using it again, I fell in love all over again. My skin feels so soft, silky and moisturised. This oil is now a staple in my daily routine.
I have two favourite lipsticks of all time. One of them is Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick in 112. It's a beautiful dark brown rose colour. It's long lasting formula is not drying especially since it's a matte finish. I love it because it’s a drugstore product. Its pigmentation and opacity win big points! I also have it in 106 and 107. I bought 112 in two tubes. One to use and one for spare. I wore it almost every day and one of my girlfriends loved the colour as well. So I gave it to her as a gift. Since my tube is almost halfway point. I begged my big macho manly I-have-never-bought-makeup-in-my-life boyfriend to buy another tube for me but, apparently it was sold out in every store he went in. Well, turns out the colour is discontinued!!! So, I did what every other beauty lover do, I went to MAC find a similar colour and I found it in Del Rio. It’s not the exact same shade, I would say it's a more purple-ish hue. I am still on the look out for the same exact shade.
