It's been an amazing few days with Don here! After 5 months apart, you forget how to be around the person. It needs to get used to. It took us a couple of days to get used to each other and after that, everything felt natural! Don is just an easy guy to do things with. Always up for an adventure and will try things twice.
Ever since we started dating until now, we've been in communication EVERY DAY. We talk every day. Texting/Facebook messaging. We are constantly connected. Which means we talk a lot and know everything there is to know about each other. From our kindergarten crush, favourite food, the girl who broke his heart, his gym's timetable and etc. If you ask me anything about Don, I can confidently answer.
But there are just some things... you only pick up from the person when you are together. It's weird things like... I found out Don is not a big fan of fishy food. He likes fish and will eat fish, but there are certain fish dishes he doesn't like. For example We were at my parents' house. My mom cooked this delicious laksa made from fish meat, coconut milk and spices. I LOVED IT. I know that Don is a fan of laksa and knew this will be a winner dish for him. When i offered to prepare a second helping for him, he politely declined and said he was full. It was only the next day, he mentioned that he didn't like the fishy flavour from it, even though he likes eating fish. I know, it's weird. But it's the weird things like this, we miss out when we're in long distance relationships.
This is from his point of view, he said that whenever i am thinking about something. I would tilt my head a little and smile. That's when he knows i have something on my mind and he will let me have my "moment" then call me out. Again, things like this don't show on screens. You only pick it up when you're together. I think it's really important to have days to meet and spend time together. You get to understand and get to know through body languages, mannerisms, etc. I am so grateful for our time now. I don't want him to go back :(
Other than that, we have a trip to Bangkok coming up! This will be our first 'travel' trip together!
