Don is coming here in a few days and I am BEYOND excited. It's the first time, we are seeing each other in months and this is the longest we've ever been apart. Never again! It's going to be a food trip for him. Malaysia, a multicultural country is pretty known for its food because of the cultural influences. We have Malay, Chinese, Indian and a mixture of all three cultures! So, i have a full itinerary of breakfast, lunch, dinner for him. The last time he visited me, Donny boy here complained, saying that i didn't feed him enough. He is a big man with a huge appetite, i can't keep up with! I've been saving new restaurants, cafes here in KL to try with him. So excited!! We get to be a normal couple for a couple of weeks.
In terms of visits, I say we're pretty lucky. We're 5 hours away by flight with the same time zone. Ever since we started dating long distance (only a year++), we have visited each other five times. I know there are some LDR couples who have not met or only see each other a couple times a year. I feel really blessed despite our circumstances. As much as I am excited to have him with me again. It frustrates me that we have no solid plan after this. Trying to be optimistic and positive is very hard. We did have a plan, but it fell into big chunks of pieces (this is a story for another day). When life hits you with a curveball, you just go through it and improvise. The plan now is to enjoy each other's company, work on our relationship and love each other.
