Tucked away behind the old Hock Choon (Lorong Batai, Bukit Damansara, now known as Batai Village), is a new pancake cafe, Wicked Pancake Parlour. I went on a dinner date with dearest Joanna, a fellow blogger and ex-colleague. I wanted to try Yellow Brick Road, a cafe below Wicked Parlour Pancake, but it was closed! The next best thing was the cafe above (they are afflicated). The menu consists of variety of pancake dishes and soda floats. If you're on a diet, this is not the place for you. This cafe basically screams sugar, loooots of sugar.
1. I arrived slightly earlier than Joanna, while waiting for her, I took the time to admire the decor and my surroundings. I particularly love the decor. I love wooden furnitures. Especially when people make something cool things with crates. The cafe is spacious, not too loud and there is a little corner for kids to play! I might bring my niece here one day!
2. Bloggers. Food eats first! The last time we met up was my last day at our old job. It's so nice to meet up with old friends and catch up! It's been work/futsal/work/futsal for the past few weeks, that it was nice to take a break from it and have some girl time.
3. I ordered Let's Salsa. It's a savoury pancake with turkey ham, tomatoes, salsa, cheeeeese and nachos with guacamole spread. To be honest, I can't tell you if it was good. I was really hungry that night, so anything I ate that night was good.
Wicked Pancake Parlour Batai Village, Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur.
