day skincare routine

Why i havent been posting beauty related things is because... i am on a make-up ban! (I say it with pride!) I placed myself on the ban last September after spending a littttle too much time in Sephora. Surprsingly, I have been really good! Sure, i'll occasionally pick up a new lipstick, blusher or eyeliner and etc, but nothing out of the RM60 (Aud20) range. Just keeping myself at bay. I have quite a healthy collection, i need to be finishing up some of my products before new members join the clan.

With the make up ban, i focused on my skin care. 25 years old and i still break out like a teenager. I am a BIG fan of Kiehl's and have been using them for YEARS! Above is my day skincare routine.

I wash with Kiehl's Deep Cleaning Foaming Face Wash with my Clarisonic. Started using my Clarisonic again after months of hiatus. Dont why i stopped using it, but wow, I can see the differences after a few washes! Cue: break outs as well :( After that, I continue with the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution to get rid of old acne scars and my favourite Acne Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment. <- Okay, this thing does exactly what is says. It controls and dimisses any potential acne before it pops up! I have gone through at least 3 tubes of this and i dont think i will stop using this. This is #one product i recommend for people who are suffering from acne.

The last two products are my moisturiser and my sunblock! The two MOST important products in my routine. I use them EVERYDAY. Especially sunscreen. I am so tempted to change my skin care routine to try different products but... why fix something that isnt broken right? There are so many products to tryyy...

I cant waittttt to get off my make up ban!

Kodak Disposable Camera Photos!

Sunday, 11 January 2015

A quick trip to Coles turned out to be a GREAT quick trip to Coles with the discovery of Kodak Disposable Camera (Single use cameras). With 27 exposure of 800 asa film inside... i knew it was going to be perfect for Perth's sunny weather. Its getting too obvious that i LOVE taking film photos in Perth because of its light.

HAPPY 2015!

Sunday, 4 January 2015

So, a day before i left for Perth, my company had our Christmas dinner.  <jumping off topic>  One of my directors' mom made the softest, mashiest and most delicious mash potato EVER. It was so good, i kept thinking about every day right up to Christmas - hoping that Don's family would have mash potato on the menu, sadly, no mash potato :( Okayyy... </end topic>. During the dinner, the directors announced that... they were going to close the office on the 26th of December and 2nd January!!!! Giving us... 2 weeks of 5 days weekend!!! What a way to end the year and start the new year.

Celebarated the new year with my forever gedik girls. This by far has been my tamest and most laid back new year celebration. Quiet dinner with the bunch - we had dinner at 9pm, everyone was hungry, no conversations, just eating.

Cheers to 2015!

5 Good Habits to Pick Up in 2015

Camera: Fisheye Film: Lomo Color 400 ISO
Tried writing my new year resolution and it turned out to be a bore. I want to achieve so many unrealistic things this year that i decided, blah forget it. Just do whatever makes you happy and dont break the law. You guys must be sick, i talk about Don all the time, but oh well, he is my biggest inspiration. #sorrynotsorry #angau I told him I was writing my new year resolution, failing badly. And he suggested i write good habits i want to pick up in 2015. I never thought of that, see what i mean - Don = biggest inspiration!

5 habits i want to pick up in 2015

What a year, 2014!

Wednesday, 31 December 2014

2014 has been a tragic year for Malaysia. The great mystery of #MH370, #MH17 shot down over Ukraine and the recent #QZ8501 crash. Not only that, northern states of Malaysia is flooded. The worst ever in years. I wish for a better year for Malaysia.

Personally, I started 2014 unhappy. I was watching the fireworks with someone i didnt love, my girlfriends were all over the city, my siblings celebrating with their own families and my parents were out partying with their friends. I had an amazing 2013 and i wasnt going to let the first day of 2014 bring me down to a potentially good year. I had a rough 1st and 2nd quarter but everything picked up right after! I graduated!!! I fell in love with futsal, became closer with my girlfriends, a new job and got with an amazing guy. My family is healthy and strong. I cant ask for more.

Looking forward to 2015. 2015 is about career, health and working on my relationship. Here is hoping and praying that 2015 will bring better luck, happiness and health.
