September Goals

Tuesday, 1 September 2015

Hello September!

A new month and a new set of goals. Last month, I wanted to work more on my health, blog, and life. I am really proud to say that, I have achieved them all! I have been going for yoga more and eating better. Cutting down on process food and eating more greens. I wanted to blog more about long distance relationships and I did. I've been reading more. Well, not the 4 books I bought last month but other books I managed to finish that I stopped halfway. It's a good month. September is looking to be a good month as well. I am going on a small family trip in a few days. Be sure to follow my Instagram for updates. Let's get September rolling with my monthly goals.

01 Stop reading click-bait articles
I am a BIG sucker for click-bait articles. 5 ways to look in HOT in a bikini. 10 ways to know how he is the one. This usually happens when I am scrolling my Facebook feed on my phone. After reading the articles, I feel so silly because it's not news! They attract you with such sensational headlines but then when you actually read the article, it's just meh. This is my biggest goal yet to stop reading click-bait articles.

02 No phones during bedtime
This is going to be a struggle because I am always on my phone or iPad before bed. I will be messaging my friends, reading click-bait articles and scrolling Instagram. I get so wired up from all the social media activity that it takes me longer to fall asleep and wake up really cranky from my lack of sleep. I am going to strictly implement no phone activity/usage 2 hours before bed. Wish me luck!

03 Write more beauty related posts
Last month, I said I wanted to write more long distance related posts. Which I did! You can read all my long distance relationship related posts here. So this month, I am going to add on more beauty and lifestyle related posts. If you have anything you want me to review or talk about, let me know in the comments below!

04 Play my Nintendo DS
Don bought me a Nintendo DS + Super Mario game as a present a couple months back. I finished the game in record time. It came to a point where I stopped playing so I can stretch out the game and not be lost when I finish the game. When Don came to visit me, he got me a new game - The Legend of Zelda. I have not touched my DS ever since my trip to Bangkok. I miss getting lost in a game and challenging myself.

I have another big goal to achieve. I am in the process of decluttering, downsizing and simplifying my life. I have so many things and thoughts that it clouds my judgment. I want to start a series where I will slowly declutter, downsize and simplify my life. Starting with why I want to do this in my next post.
