I am a HUGE Instagram fan. I love taking photos and love looking at pictures of beautiful things. One of the trends I am seeing now on Instagram is calligraphy. Beautiful quotes written in calligraphy fonts. Calligraphy is definitely a skill. I have been looking for workshops here in KL to join and learn, but I keep missing them. If any of you know a great calligraphy workshop (preferably brush) let me know, please! I am following a few awesome calligraphers and designers on my Instagram and every time I scroll past their photos, I feel so happy and inspired. For all you font and pretty things lovers, I am very sure you'll love them as much as I do. Here are my favourite calligraphy Instagram accounts. Click on their names to follow them!
What Do I Miss
Wednesday, 16 September 2015
One of my favourite past times is looking back at old photos of my loved ones and memorable events. I take hundreds of photos monthly and it can be quite hard (and annoying) to store them or go through them. When Facebook came out with their “On This Day” feature, I was a fan! I even went one step further to work on keep track of old photos by downloading the Time Hop app on my phone. A couple days ago, Facebook brought me back one year ago to my graduation day!! I can’t believe it has been a year since I graduated and moved back to Malaysia. As much as I enjoy being in Malaysia with my family and friends, but there is probably not a day that goes by where I don’t miss something about Perth. My second home. It made me miss some of the best things I enjoyed in Perth, so here goes nothing...
What To Expect on Blushingkay
Monday, 14 September 2015
When I first started in Blushingkay in 2012, it was a place for me to write about my daily antics, beauty reviews and share my film photography. I want it to be my escape and a place for me to document my "creative" journey. I blogged on and off, and only decided to take blogging more serious in 2014. I am so glad I decided to take blushingkay more seriously because I have met so many amazing people through this blog and have been given so many opportunities. Thank you!
My Favourite LDRBN bloggers
Friday, 11 September 2015

As some of you might know, I am part of this amazing Long Distance Relationship community called LDRBN. A website of girls (and boys) from around the world who write about their personal experience on their long-distance relationship. I have been part of this community for a few months and I met really wonderful girls from all walks of life, each offering nothing but support for each other. If you are in a long-distance relationship and need some loving and support, check the links below!
Another great news I want to share - I have just been made a moderator for the website! It's my first time ever moderating a website, so it's pretty exciting! Do visit the website and don't forget to check out the girls' blogs. If you want to join this community, comment below and i can help you out.
Advice for Long Distance Relationships: Don't Do It!
Tuesday, 8 September 2015
I am in a long distance relationship and I don't encourage you to be in one.
I won't sugarcoat it and anyone in a long distance relationship will also say that same. IT SUCKS BIG TIME. It's not awesome. It's not fun. It's emotionally draining. It's lonely. I especially don't encourage it for people who are in their teens and early 20s (Let's call them "prime years" for the sake of this post, I know everyone has different ages of "prime years"). I feel like long distance (relationships) are done because the couple has to go through it. It's not something you do because you want to. It's because you have to. It's almost like a trap. Now, why would you want to put yourself in a theoretical trap? When you're in your prime years, you're still learning about yourself. You're not 100% sure of what you want.
