From left to right: Maybelline Mega Plush Volume Express mascara, Nars Blusher in Orgasm, Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Audacious Asphalt, Bobbi Brown Long Gel Eyeliner in Twilight, Chanel CC Cream

The Chanel CC cream - i first saw it while flipping through a magazine while waiting for my turn to thread my eyebrows. I am a bb cream ~lover~ when i saw CC cream, i was so intrigued (people always get up my pants when i use words like intrigued when talking about make up, but really!! its how i feel, anywayyy...) I told my mom about it and the Chanel loving woman went straight to the stores to get it.

One of my biggest regret was not reviewing it before buying. i was so caught up in the new CC cream hype. When i first tried it on, it was too white for me...and gave me a grey cast. In my defense, i put on too much...but really... it wasnt right. i gave it a try for a week and sadly...i stopped using it for a good few  months, until recently, i thought why not give it another chance.

The trick to wearing this CC cream for me is build up. A little goes a long way. When i mean little, think smaller than a pin size drop and build up when you need more. It does give a beautiful dewy finish thats last! I can still a slight glow at the end of the day.

I wouldnt recommend getting this, it is quite pricey for a small tube.  RM170 = AUD56 But if you have almost perfect skin and just looking for light coverage, this is perfect for you.

This is my 2nd post about this miracle product. This is my 3rd tube. I still have nothing but good words for it. Read first post here

How i use it: I spray my Lush Tea Tree Water, slather this miracle on my face and let it dry. I love it because it helps reduce my redness and help lighten my acne scars. I like the fact it matify my face because oh hell lord, my face is so oily, i could probably fry an egg on it. Another plus factor about this product is that its absorbs into your skin very fast. No sticky feeling after.

Ro Argan Body Conditioner

Tuesday, 27 August 2013

Ever since i came to Perth, the weather has been playing with my skin. Its so dry!!!! I have a body lotion in my toilet, so i can lather on after i come out from the shower. One bottle on my desk, whenever i am doing my work, i can put some on and another one bottle on my vanity shelf, in case i forget to put some after i get out from the shower (which is MOST of the time).

This went on for a few months before i gave up. Thats when i headed over to Lush and found this miracle. Yes, miracle? because my skin says so. The first thing you would notice when you smell the conditioner from the tub is the SMELL. The tub says it is suppose to leave you smelling like Rose jam. To me...it smells of cream rose jam. its heavenly. Seriously, try to imagine a tub of creamy rose jam.

I have gone through a tub and i am on to my second tub. So, Ro's Argan body conditioner is like hair conditioner for your body. You slather it on in the shower while you are still wet, leave it on for a bit and wash it off. I was abit skeptical at first, but after i rinsed myself. I WAS SOLD! My skin was moisturised and i smelt amazing.

I have been using this every night and have been skipping my body lotion routine, but i might have to cut back a little and use it sparingly because its AUD32 a tub/225g. Sometime, i accidentally scoop out too much for one use. :( Its works so well because its packed with richly moisturising ingredients such as argan oil, cocoa butter, cupuacu butter, brazil nut oil, almond oil, shea butter and it goes on.

This is definitely one of my Perth's staple. i dont think i would like it much if i used it in Kuala Lumpur, due to Malaysia's humid weather.

EXCELLENCE

Thursday, 1 August 2013

I went back to Malaysia for 5 weeks and out of that 5 weeks, i worked for 4 weeks. Back to Zalora, helping Fazil and Azian with some BM translation project. I have to say that 4 weeks working there, i learn most compared to my one year stint before i resigned back in January.

Going back to Zalora, i could relive my love for excel. I never knew i had a hidden love for nerds or a nicer way to say it, someone who excels at excel. :P sorry! i just had too! If you told me 2 years ago i would HAVE to learn excel, formulas, macro and etc, i would have probably stared at the person and say, right? Excel? What else can you do with excel beside creating a school timetable with it? I was wrrroonng. After learning the basics of excel, i was hooked. I thought i was the coolest person when i learned how to =vlookup on my own and NOW i can create my own PivotTable and send out reports. ya, i know right? im the coolest (please shoot me now).

My obsession with excel is crazy that i have been looking for excel training courses here in Perth.

ok, just needed to share my current crazy obsession. its 12.51am, i really need to sleep now.

I care about my skin care regime, i read up about ingredients (i have alot of free time) and what is products are good for my oily/combination skin and etc, but at the same time, i am lazy, less steps the better! I find myself skipping toning.

I concluded that toners are just a waste of time, initially i thought toning is just to get rid of excess dirt that your cleanser didnt get rid of, but i use my clarisonic every alternate days, i am pretty confident that there is no excess dirt or make up on my face. I would look over my toner and move on to my moisturiser. After a while, i found my face tight and dry, i would lather up my Khiel's Midnight Recovery Concentrate at night and break out the next morning. It was really frustrating and annoying!

I went by Lush to pick up some winter supplies (more on that next time) and randomly decidedly to get their toner water. I used their Tea Tree Oil toner water before this and still had some left, so i got the Breath of Fresh Air to try it out. One of the reasons why i got the toner water....was that i could spritz it. Before i left to Perth, i got the Keihl's Herbal Extract Toner 500ml bottle!! Freaking huge bottle that took so much of my luggage weight and i barely used a quarter of it. I love the product, but im so lazy to wipe it all over my face, especially in the morning because i am always late for class! (keyword: lazy). im loving i can spritz my Lush toner water. ~spritz spritz spritz~

After 3 days of using it, i could feel the difference. My face felt hydrated and i could feel my moisturiser sinking in my skin alot faster! Seriously loving it now, i want to make this as permanent in my skincare regime BUT...i can ony do so after i finish my Herbal Extract Toner...which might take years...
