I love it when brands have french translation on their products "precieuse" "miracle" "prodigieuse" somehow it makes the product sexier. I am a big fan of hair oils especially now with my bleached-in-desperate-need-of-a-trim ends. I find that hair oils soak up much faster and repairs my hair better.
I was using the Macadamia Hair Oil for years until my stock ran out. :( and being a #brokestudent, i needed to find a cheaper alternative. Went to my favourite shop ever, Priceline <3 <3 and i found this L'oreal Ever Sleek Precious Oil Treatment. My hair is currently at its longest ever. I have super thick straight hair with dry ends. Because my hair is thick and heavy, my hair gets really flat at my crown. So i needed something that doesnt weight my hair even more and doesnt grease my roots. Washing my hair is starting to become a burden. #dryshampooFTW
I didnt have high expectations of it because i just needed a temporary fix and i am a huge believer in the Macadamia Hair Oil. I usually use hair oils on towel dried hair. Instructions at the back of the bottle says two pumps - when i pumped two pumps, i thought, okay, thats alot? my hair is going to be greasy. But to my surprise, its so lightweight and actually helped detangle my hair! Anything that helps detangle my hair is already a winner. I have been using this product for almost 3 weeks and the only thing i dont like about it is that, it weighs my hair down when i apply it on dry hair. It only works on wet/towel dried hair. As compared to the Macadamia Hair Oil, i find this oil a bit heavier.
Overall, this oil helps maintain my dry frizzy ends for a good few hours, makes my hair smooth, smells wonderful like...vanilla jam and its affordable! If you have broomstick ends like my hair, your hair will thank you.
