Tips and Tricks To Maintain Bleached Hair

My hair is no stranger to bleach. It all started with me having long hair and wanting something different. I just moved to Perth and i wanted something different. After countless of hours of deciding what I wanted to do with my hair and even more countless hours of researching how I was going to do it. I decided i wanted to do the ombre/balayage look. Plan To Be Surprised

plan to be surprised quotes

Don is coming here in a few days and I am BEYOND excited. It's the first time, we are seeing each other in months and this is the longest we've ever been apart. Never again! It's going to be a food trip for him. Malaysia, a multicultural country is pretty known for its food because of the cultural influences. We have Malay, Chinese, Indian and a mixture of all three cultures! So, i have a full itinerary of breakfast, lunch, dinner for him. The last time he visited me, Donny boy here complained, saying that i didn't feed him enough. He is a big man with a huge appetite, i can't keep up with! I've been saving new restaurants, cafes here in KL to try with him. So excited!! We get to be a normal couple for a couple of weeks.

never lose your sense of wonder

Consider this post as motivation for great things to come! I resigned from a job i really disliked last week with no concrete plans. My old job did a number to my creativity and sense of wonder. I felt trapped and i am so glad i am out of it. The people i worked with were wonderful, but it was the job

Find Joy In The Simplest Things

Don and I have been together for over a year and currently going through our longest stint apart = 5 months. We promised each other that we will *try* to see each other every 3 months, but this time around we couldn't due to our jobs. When we said goodbye at the airport, I was dreading the flight home because i was going back to reality. It was back to having a relationship with my iPhone and iPad.

From there, I was on a roll to find things to distract myself. I mostly did sports related things. I've been playing futsal for years and developed friendships from there. It kept me sanely and going! But you know, when you have a good thing going on for too long, it can get a little repetitive and boring. I felt like I needed something else to look forward to (other than my daily Futsal nights) spark up my routine or life. Retail therapy helped but a temporary fix. Over time, i stopped trying to find "happiness" and let life take over. It's when you don't try, joy creeps up to you. Below are four little joys that keep me going in our LDR.
